Circa 1930s Seikosha wall clock with deep black wood frame and metal face western numbers. The clock strikes on the half hour and hour. Marked on the back CNWF-E-46-1, YAB-6-10. In 1892, Kintaro Hattori established Seikosha in Tokyo, Japan, where he produced his first wall clocks, marking the beginnings of a company that was to become one of the world’s largest and most important manufacturers of timepieces.
