Vintage Italian Giusseppe Cappe porcelain figurine featuring two old men sitting in a parlor smoking cigars and gossiping / telling jokes on a couch / settee.

This is a Capodimonte figure group "" La Barzelletta"" (The Risques Punchline aka The Joke) by Giusseppe Cappe circa 1959. The old codgers, replete with an ample lunch followed by some vintage brandy recount tales which are quite improper for the ears of the ladies present. The piece has the signature 'G Cappe' on the back and the mark for Capodimonte is on the underside. The more portly figure should be holding a cigar
