Vintage Yoruba Nigerian beaded tribal armchair featuring geometric patterns with alligators / crocodiles, antelope / gazelle, lions, masked faces, plants, parrots, eagles, birds elephants, and buffalo.

Traditionally made for the Yoruba tribe Kings and Queens, Yoruba chairs are hand embellished with thousands of tiny glass seed beads applied to fabric covers which are then stitched or glued onto the chair frame.

Condition

Good vintage condition, wear and distressing commensurate with age and use.
