In Greek mythology, the Horae (Hours) are goddesses of the seasons and natural time. The names of the Horae associated with the four seasons are:
Eiar: Spring
Theros: Summer
Phthinophorôn: Autumn
Kheimôn: Winter

The Horae were the daughters of Zeus and Themis, the goddess of divine law and order. They were often depicted as beautiful, youthful goddesses, usually dressed in robes and sometimes holding symbolic items related to their roles.
