Very large vintage oil painting on canvas inspired by ancient Roman frescoes. Depicts a tableau of six putti cherubs on a gilded background, surrounding a classical urn, framed in pattern motifs. Reverse marked: "Dipinto eseguito nel 1886 ed ipirato ad antichi affreachi" (Painting executed and inspired by ancient frescoes) and signed Gengis. Stretched canvas, unframed.
