Antique 19th century Staffordshire porcelain flatback figurine titled "Dog Tray," depicting a young girl sleeping at the foot of a tree with her hoop and stick, guarded by an attentive red and white King Charles spaniel. Tray refers to the name of a faithful dog featured in the poem "The Harper," written in 1836 by Thomas Campbell.
