After William Adolphe Bouguereau (French/Italian 1825 - 1905) 20th C. oil on craquelure canvas based on his painting "Meditation" a young girl wearing a yellow headscarf sits on a stone plinth marked 1885 near a wooded backdrop. The painting is unsigned and has an ornate gold frame.

Condition

Good Overall; the the relief side of the frame is broken in a few spots. The trim along the corner is also missing. warped canvas Does not affect ability to hang or display
