This striking piece is an iconic "Eclipse" bench, designed by the acclaimed American interior designer Jay Spectre for Century Furniture in the 1980s. The design beautifully blends Post-Modernism with dramatic Art Deco influences. Features a sculptural, u-shaped curved frame and a distinctive, channel-tufted or lobed cushion setup that sweeps upward on both ends. The hardwood frame has been painted white which nicely offset the brown leather cushions.

Condition

Good vintage Condition; general wear from use and age. one of the cushions was resewn on a small section in white thread. Some marking to the leather.
