This authentic Henredon Chippendale style 18th Century Portfolio chest-on-stand showcases a stately, narrow silhouette crafted from finely grained mahogany with a rich, warm finish, explicitly stamped with a production date of January 5, 1976. The tall dresser is configured with seven stacked drawers, featuring built-in wooden dividers in the top, third, and fourth drawers for meticulous organization. The top drawer is accented with a central brass keyhole escutcheon, while every drawer face is adorned with pairs of ornate, polished brass bail handles mounted on decorative round rosettes. Brass drop-handles are also mounted on the side panels of the cabinet box for a classic campaign-style flourish. The upper chest sits seamlessly upon a sturdy, independent base stand featuring a carved apron with a textured fretwork design, resting on square legs stabilized by straight H-stretchers.
