A fine Federal / Regency giltwood and gold gesso pier mirror. This antique mirror features an original Verre églomisé frieze—a reverse-painted glass panel depicting a pastoral farmhouse landscape scene with two female figures. The mirror includes a ball decorated cornice, and retains its original glass plate, beautifully aged with natural foxing and a patina that enhances its charm and authenticity.
