Mid century modern tray or plate by Oskar Kirsten. Made of Purpleheart wood, marked on back 1850 with signature. Oskar Kirsten is an award winning renown wood turner and retired Mechanical Engineer. He has a background in developing laser based instruments and is now retired. His life now includes enjoying time with his grandkids, enjoying his retirement, happily turning wood, playing flamenco guitar, and driving his finally restored 1960 190 SL Mercedes.
