Description

Chippendale style library or office desk by Maitland Smith. Made from mahogany with intricatley carved details including high relief acanthus legs leading to ball and claw feet. Features a three panel brown and gold tooled leather top with carved scalloped apron and three long drawers. Drawers are banded with brass pulls and neatly framed by ornate trim. Finished on both sides like a partners desk, but with false drawers on front, leaving full length drawers for use.

Good vintage condition, some scratching and distressing to leather top, wear and rubbing to edges of trim
