Description

This hand-knotted wool vintage Persian / Iranian Mahal rug featuring a stepped lozenge amulet medallion surrounded by an all-over pattern composed of lattice, florals, and palmettes. Complementary colored spandrels with comb edges grace each corner. The rug is enclosed by a main floral border creating a well-balanced and timeless design. Features a field of blue with red flowing throughout and pinks, purples, teal and green.
