1990s National Mt. Airy Biedermeier Console server and mirror. A demilune or crescent shape made from maple with ebonized accents and inlay along top. Features two felt lined serving drawers and outer hidden cabinets that pop open via magnetic mechanism. Includes matching mirror. 4064-305 & 2064-231, Made in USA.

Mount Airy of North Carolina's roots go back to 1888 when the lumber and woodworking industry was booming. They had three large factories and quickly evolved into specialized furniture suites. They enjoyed a successful run until 1997 when a fire completely destroyed their facilities.

Condition

Good vintage condition, wear and distressing commensurate with age and use.
