Antique Victorian Quartersawn Oak Side by Side Secretary Desk Bookcase Cabinet

Description

Monumental antique Victorian side by side secretary desk and curio bookcase, circa 1900s. Made of quartersawn or "tiger" oak featuring an arched arcade with intricate carvings and a gargoyles / lions topper. The body of the cabinet includes a curved glass bookcase and drop front secretary with northwind face. Secretary opens to a clean writing surface, drawers and cubbies. Includes three lower drawers for storage with ornate brass hardware. The cabinet is supported by four legs with flared front feet.

Very good, wear and distressing commensurate with age and use, see pictures.
