Description

Antique French executive office armchair, circa 1890s. Made of oak featuring carved floral accents, caned seat and double caned back and rolling swivel base. Marked Gilson Canada on industrial base. Sometime before 1900 the company began making chair irons, which is the cast iron piece forming the base center of a swivel chair.

Condition

Very good antique condition, light wear commensurate with age and use.
