Description

Monumental William IV twin pedestal sideboard, server or barback, circa first half 19th century. A rectangular breakfront form made from oak with ornately carved acanthus scrolling backsplash. Features a large central drawer flanked by outer cupboard cabinets with large carved cartouche in the form of a crest. Cabinets open to additional service drawers and pull outs. Large lower right drawer is a metal lined divided cellaret (used for the storage of bottles). All drawers are hand dovetailed

Good Antique Condition with distressing from use. Some bowing as well as split along top
