Antique 19th C. Early American Cherry Tall Case Grandfather Clock Painted Face

Description

A beautiful tall case clock, circa first half 19th century. Features an American Cherry case with a strip of crotch mahogany veneer below the face. The hand painted face is accented by empire painted columns and a bouquet of flowers at the top. Includes functional lock and key.

Condition

Structuraly Sound; Mechanically not tested / needs servicing. Includes weights and pendulum. Looks to have had finials in the past as well as a glass face / door.
