Turner, Marshall H (1936-2009)
Marshall was born in Chicago in 1936, the son of Max and Julia Turner. He Attended UCLA and graduated from UCSF Dental School, and was a practicing dentist for 47 years in the San Fernando Valley. In addition to the love he shared with his family and friends, he had two other constant loves in his life: sailing and art. Marshall was most happy on the sea. He had two sailboats named "Mindsweeper," because mind-sweeping was the gift that a good day on the water provided him. He also loved art, primarily painting, and created many watercolors over the years. He was always excited when his latest painting arrived home from the framer, and was thrilled whenever he sold a painting to an adoring fan. He also shared his artistic talents with children in the LA Unified School District as an art teacher for many years.
