French Louis XVI Boulle Style Marbled Lacquer Serpentine Table Cabinet Commode

Description

French Louis XVI inspired Boulle Style Faux marbled red lacquer chest, side table or entry commode. Features a serpentine form with gold trim and lower cabinet for accessory storage. Lower door has a nice low relief cameo of a nymph framed in a Greek key design. Top surface showcases an oval rose motif. The cabinet stiles are finished in gold with a descending foliate pattern. The chest is supported by square tapered legs leading to spade feet.

Condition

Good Vintage Condition; alligatoring to the lacquer on the top.
