Antique 19th C. American Victorian Oak Stepback Dresser Chest Glovebox Drawers

Description

Victorian era oak stepback dresser, c. 1870s. Features a rectangular form with glovebox drawers along the top and three large drawers along the lower side of the case. The drawers are hand dovetailed and feature brass bail style hardware. The larger three drawers have ornately carved escutcheon plates.

Condition

Good Overall; Staining, marking and rings to top surfaces. Hardware updated. Hardware covering the key escutcheons along the top. Missing two locks as well as a chip to the trim around one escutcheon. Missing chamfered side panel along right side of glovebox. Structurally solid
