Late 19th century black and white etching by Henry Pruett Share. Vertical nighttime winter landscape of farm buildings and rabbit prints in the snow by a small pond. Signed in plate H Pruett Share Invt-Aqft, lower right. Pencil signed, lower right edge. Remarke of a box trap, lower edge. Copyrighted by Max Jacoby 1887. Beveled wood frame with small carved border; white mat.

"Henry Pruett Share - Artist. Born in Los Angeles, CA in 1853. Share left California in 1875 and moved to NYC. For many years he was art editor of the New York Herald and New York World.
