Early 20th Century Novelty Wood Works Company Craftsman Style Bookcase. Made from mahogany with two glass locking front doors that open to a divided interior with 10 shelves. The cabinet is supported by square tapered legs.

Novelty Wood Works Company was a manufacturer in Union City, Pa. They made this piece and sent it to Cappel Furniture company in Dayton Ohio for resale.

Fair; Structurally Solid, Distressing, marking, scuffing and edgewear. Alligatoring to veneer.
