Antique NCR National Cash Register quartersawn oak Credit System file index box for retail stores. This filing case has the capacity for 200 credit customers. Originally it contained paper envelopes for holding credit slips. It was intended to take the place of ledger. Each credit slip was arranged alphabetically and separated by indexes.
