Vintage Queen Anne style lowboy chest, also referred to as a dressing table. Constructed from a rich, dark-toned solid cherry, This piece serves as a late 20th-century reproduction of classic 18th-century American furniture. The upper portion features a straight-edged top over two long drawers, accented with traditional brass batwing drawer pulls and an ornate matching center escutcheon plate. A prominent decorative element is the centrally located, hand-carved sunburst or fan motif incised into the lower drawer face. The lower edge of the case is finished with a scalloped, wave-like apron that transitions seamlessly into elegant, S-curved cabriole legs terminating in classic pad feet.
