This custom-made antique coat rack features an elongated, clear-finished oak backboard supporting a narrow display shelf along its upper edge. The design is uniquely defined by a diverse, horizontal row of six distinct vintage and antique door knobs repurposed as hanging hooks, mounted just above an intricately carved grapevine detail featuring clusters of grapes and textured leaves etched directly into the wood grain. From left to right, the knobs showcase a variety of classic materials and historical styles, including an ornate embossed brass knob, a brilliant faceted clear glass knob, a smooth white porcelain knob, a dark patterned metal knob, a second intricately filigreed brass knob, and a sleek, glossy black porcelain knob. The natural wood grain of the mounting board remains visible beneath the polished finish, creating a rustic, functional piece of wall decor that blends traditional woodwork with eclectic architectural salvage elements.
