Description

Rare antique Mason's Patent Ironstone double-handled dessert dish or compote, crafted in England during the early 19th century (circa 1815–1825). Brass stand included.

This piece features the highly collectible "Muscovy Ducks" (or Covey Ducks) Chinoiserie pattern. The central cartouche displays two brightly colored ducks swimming among oversized lotus leaves and water blossoms.

Decorated in a rich, vibrant Imari style palette, which heavily incorporates cobalt blue, iron red, green, and bright yellow/purple accents highlighted with intricate gilding.
