Antique Mt Airy Crotch Walnut French Provincial Louis XV Serpentine Dining Table

Description

Circa 1940s Mount Airy dining table. Made from walnut with a serpentine and carved accent and cabriole legs. Mount Airy of North Carolina's roots go back to 1888 when the lumber and woodworking industry was booming. They had three large factories and quickly evolved into specialized furniture suites. They enjoyed a successful run until 1997 when a fire completely destroyed their facilities.
