A classic and petite George III mahogany drop leaf side table from the legendary Chicago furniture maker, Quigley, circa 1940s. Features a long and slender form with central drawer, split drop leaf along one side and spider campaign style legs. Split leafs are a very rare find on dropleaf tables and allow for added versatility. Quigley Furniture Co. a maker of only custom furniture was the source of choice for designer Samuel Marx and architect David Adler, brother of Frances Elkins.
