Description

Intriguing early 20th century flat top steamer trunk strong box. Made from pine with three locks along the front, metal lines corners and handles along the side. The lock plate escutcheons in the shape of a shield. The trunk is finished in black. The front of the trunk is marked F Roosevelt Pair France. This most likely being the shipping address as the interior is marked Madem Moiselle Isabelle Klauser, 71 Avenue du Pt Roosevelt

Condition

Good Overall; wear and distressing from use and age. The trunk was boken open at some point which can be seen by the wood on the outer two locks.
