Vintage Black Forest German Walnut Swiss Musical Regula Cuckoo Clock Edelweiss

Description

A large vintage black forest cuckoo wall clock, made in Germany. Features Regula-72 German 8 day movement with Cuendet Swiss musical movement playing Lara's Theme from Dr. Zhivago. The Roman numeral clock face has a lattice backing and is surrounded by carved birds, branches and leaves. Includes 3 pinecone weights and a leaf carved finial. A single cuckoo comes out along the top at the half hour and again at the full hour. The dancers rotate and spin at the top of each hour as music is playing.

Condition

Good Vintage Condition; the clock is fully functional. The bird along the crown has a broken wing.
