Ralph Lauren Mayfair English Regency Mahogany Mirrored Console Pier Hall Table

Description

A stately English Regency mirrored pier table by Ralph Lauren, circa 1990s. The rectangular frame is made from a warm brown mahogany with matchbook burled panels. A pronounced top is supported by thick acanthus-scrolled corbels over a plinth base. The central mirror has an antiqued finish and one inch bevel. Includes foliate carved panels and a faux escuthceon with key for the drawer pull.

In 1983 Ralph Lauren Home Debuted. Frustrated by lack of choices and qaulity, Ralph launched his own collection. IT was the first for a clothing designer and included an array of offerings from bedding to rugs and other home decor. The collection was designed around four signature RL motifs; Thoroughbred, New England, Jamaica and Log Cabin.
