Pair of 20th Century Federal Style Martha Washington Lolling armchairs. Reminiscent of the Gainsborough chair that was made in England in the 18th century. Made of mahogany featuring traditional wide form with serpentine high back and open downswept arms. Upholstery features floral and bird chinoiserie motif with trophy urn centerpiece bouquet of flowers.

Condition

Good condition, wear and distressing from age and use, chairs are slightly different sizes.
