Pencil signed and numbered 58/275 along lower edge. The Collector's Guild Ltd. Certificate of Authenticity attached to back of frame. Black painted beveled wood frame with gilt outer edge; gray-brown mat.
"Herbert Breiter (1927 - 1999) was active/lived in Austria / Germany. Herbert was born in 1927 in Wide Shut landing in Silesia and lived since 1946 in Salzburg. He traveled regularly spent several months of the year in Tuscany, Greece, Dalmatia, Scandinavia, Spain or on Ischia in Styria. His paintings, watercolors and prints have been in many exhibitions at home and abroad since the 1960s. Herbert Breiter was a member of the Salzburg Art Association, the E(b)lingen Artists Guild and the Salzburg group. In addition, the artist won numerous prizes, including the prize at the Austrian graphic competition in Innsbruck, Theodor grain price, the prize of the city of Salzburg and other awards. Herbert Breiter died in 1999 in Salzburg, Austria.
