"The Raadvaddam factory was founded in 1759 in the Danish town of Raadvaddam. The factory did not focus on luxury goods, according to a catalog of the factory from 1805, but on useful goods for professionals. This philosophy has never changed. Raadvad has started to specialize in the products of knives and bread slicers of very good quality. This also included a name change, the name of the factory changed into: Raadvad Knife factories. The factory has been around for more than 250 years and is internationally known for its high quality.
