an antique sculpture portraying William Shakespeare leaning over a grecian style column with books and a quil in hand. One of the books is marked La Jérusalem délivrée is a 1712 French opera in a prologue and five acts by Duke Philippe II, Duke of Orléans, the Regent of France. The statue is made from cast iron with intricate detail.

Condition

Good Condition; patina from age. The column is at a slight angle since it is missing the fastner underneath
