Massive French Classical Figural Stag Bronze Palace Urn Planter Jardinière 76"

Description

Monumental oversized French Classical figured bronze planters, circa last quarter 20th century. Perfect for display indoor or outdoor. Features figured stags on each side beneath seated cherubs with grapes. The mouth of the urn showcases an egg and dart molding. This is set over a low relief Grecian scene with maidens, horses and cherubs. Lower side of the vase shows gadrooning with acanthus and foliate designs. The urn is mounted to a large square plinth with cherubs, shields. instruments and neoclassical motifs. A true work of art that will bring grandeur and warmth to any setting.

Condition

This urn is in great condition; there is a split / crack and bend at the seam of one of the corners along the base
