Victorian Classicism on full display in "Favourite Custom" after Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. The original is on display in the Tate Museum in Britain and was completed in 1909. The painting features a Ladies Bath house in Pompeii. Elegantly shown with charming characture and intricate detail. This example was painted at the end of the 20th century and has a resin finish to give a glossy appearance. The piece is framed in wood with a Neoclassical design and gold finish.
