Pair of antique Victorian Gothic-style highback throne chairs. Features a walnut frame with a pierced and carved back, upholstered in a red velvet with a tufted back. The chair is accented by walnut burl panels and topped by mitre hat-carved finials. The mitre hat is the type of headgear often seen on popes and bishops. The chairs are supported by blocked and turned legs with porcelain casters.
