This vintage square folding card table blends elaborate Regency-style aesthetics with a highly functional, compact design dating to circa the 1930s. The square tabletop showcases a remarkably detailed marquetry top featuring a central geometric four-point star motif enclosed within a large circular border of stylized wave scrollwork. This central section is surrounded by a rich burr walnut veneered field, beautifully decorated with ornate corner scroll accents, delicate floral bouquets, and symmetrical crests in a contrasting golden-light wood inlay that captures the classic elegance of the Regency revival period. The decorative top sits on a uniquely styled base consisting of gracefully curved, X-frame wooden legs that cross in the center and are structurally reinforced with a turned wood horizontal stretcher bar for stability and visual interest. The underside of the table features a simple, flat-panel dark brown finish integrated with a mechanical sliding wood frame that allows the legs to collapse smoothly.
