Vintage Statton Old Towne Cherry English Chippendale Style Butlers Coffee Table

Description

Vintage Statton "Old Towne" cherry butler's coffee table, circa 1977. A classic reproduction of a 18th-century English Chippendale design. Crafted from premium solid Appalachian cherry wood with a rich hand-rubbed finish, the table features a distinctive four-sided gallery top with folding, hinged drop sides that flatten down to expand the surface area.

Each of the four arched leaves is pierced with a smoothly carved, built-in handhold cutout for elegant portability. The top rests upon a clean-lined rectangular apron base supported by straight square legs, which are reinforced by a low-slung, interlocking X-stretcher that adds both architectural interest and exceptional structural stability. Marked along underside
