Antique hand knotted Oriental Heriz area rug made in Persia. Features a field of reds / pinks / peach with a floral throughout motif, geometric diamond shapes, and large central layered medallions. Multiple boarders encompass various intricate designs with colors of green, brown and blue accents. Heriz rugs are Persian rugs from the area of Heris, East Azerbaijan in northwest Iran, northeast of Tabriz, produced in the slopes of Mount Sabalan.
