Description

An impressive antique Victorian side by side secretary desk and curio bookcase, circa 1900s. Made of quartersawn or "tiger" oak with a curved glass bookcase and drop front secretary desk.The secretary opens to a writing surface, drawer and pigeon holes. Beneath the desk are three lower drawers for storage with brass bale hardware. The area above the desk includes two shelves and a mirror. Bookcase portion houses four shelves. The cabinet is supported by thick scrolled legs along the front and straight legs at the rear.

Condition

Good Antique Condition; gentle wear from use and age. small area of veneer missing on desk surface.
