Antique Charles II Style Renaissance Revival Gothic Walnut Carved Side Chair

Description

Victorian era Gothic side chair. Drawing inspiration from Charles II and French Renaissance Revival. Made from walnut with a pierced and carved Fleur crest set between carved block medallions and spire shaped finials. The chair features turned and fluted stiles leading to a floral tufted seat. Chair apron is beaded with a downward facing carved embellishment set between ribbed, reeded and fluted legs that taper to metal casters. The rear legs are in saber form.

Condition

Good Antique Condition; light wear and distressing commensurate with age.
