Mid century modern Accord chest designed by Merton Gershun for American of Martinsville, no 3759. A rectangular form with a plinth base raised over turned and tapered legs. Made of walnut featuring matchbook veneered inset paneled front with aluminum inlaid X's at the center. The chest opens via outside doors to a lower cabinet section and upper shelf. It's versatile form makes it great for use as a record cabinet, entry / tv console, credenza or compact bar. Circa 1960s
