Antique 19th C. American Victorian Mahogany Tallboy Dresser Chest of Drawers 42"

Description

A beautiful Victorian Era tallboy dresser drawing inspiration from Federal styling, circa 1870s. Made from mahogany and cherry with matchbook (burl) veneer front. Features four hand dovetailed drawers with oval brass hardware. The stiles of the case showcase quarter cut Grecian inspired turned columns with capitals, fluting and squared moldings. The chest is supported by casters for ease of movement.

Condition

Good Antique Condition; general age and use related wear. Slight farmhoues / country odor.
