De Uberti - Circa 1965-1992 - De Uberti was the trademark used by a silver and silver-plate maker in Italy, Giuliano Bossi . For many years he traded with Eisenberg-Lozano in the US, and earlier examples of the mark have the initials "EL" with a crown, Eisenberg- Lozano was founded in New York in 1953 by Arthur Eisenberg and Neal Lozano, and specialised in the importing of flatware (cutlery) and holloware in silver and silver plate to the US. The company was acquired by the Kirk Corporation in 1970, and renamed as Kirk International De Uberti in 1973. KI ceased trading in 1992.
