Antique 19th Century American Sheraton Mahogany Full Size Rope Acorn Poster Bed

Description

Early 19th century Sheraton Period poster bed. Made from mahogany with hand turned posts and acorn finials. Unique mechanism allows slats turn into place via wooden thread. Can be used with a full size mattress. Supports or plywood will need to be cut to go across the slats to support a matress.

Good Antique condition; wear and distressing commensurate with age. Marking / Scuffing. Split to one panel.
