Late 19th - early 20th century pair of engravings framed as a diptych - "Canterbury Gate & Cathedral" and "The New Inn, Clovelly," both by Preston Cribb. Canterbury is pencil titled and signed along the lower edge. Rippled giltwood frame; off white mat.
"Preston Cribb (1876-1937) was an illustrator, etcher and cartoonist. According to Johnson and Greutzner, he studied at Portsmouth and London. He is recorded as having exhibited his work at the Royal Academy, London.
