Antique English Victorian era set of 13 colored historical costume / fashion engravings / plates, extracted from "Costumes of British Ladies from the Time of William the First to the Reign of Queen Victoria," published by Dickinson & Son, London, England circa 1840. Matted in black; unframed. Each print is mounted on a sheet of paper and has descriptive text attached to the back.
Joseph Dickinson (1780-1849) was a print-seller and stationer who had a fine art business at 114 New Bond Street with his sons William, Lowes and Gilbert.
